This full day tour not only gives you a good overview about the city but also gives you two perspectives about it. We will explore areas that were once governed by the Wodeyar kings and the British Raj, taking you through churches, markets, old bungalows and other interesting places.
Let’s begin the day with some delicious breakfast at a legendary restaurant having an old school decor, before we proceed to experience colonial Bangalore. We will visit a famous church which is centuries old, while listening to lesser known facts about it, and also explore another vintage structure dedicated in memory of an Indian nationalist and a yogi by nature. On a drive through the once British occupied Bangalore areas, we will take you around few remaining sprawling bungalows with well planned roads and layouts and you will also get to see some amazing works of an artist depicting Bangalore in the 70’s. The second half of the day will give you the real Indian experience starting off with a scrumptious meal south Indian style. We will walk down the lanes of the old city which used to be governed by the kings visiting the remains of the summer palace. The narrow alleys, rush of people, overloaded carts are a common sight to behold in the vast market space where you can see contrasting lifestyles of people before we come to a halt at the main market area which will by all means overwhelm you.Entrance of Koshys Restaurant , St. Marks Road.
